So there’s a hoity-toity neighborhood in the small town of Spring Branch, where Mike works, that decided to host a golf tournament to raise money for the department. It was teams of 5 and they had some funky “scramble” rules, I’m assuming to make it go faster. Anyways, there were a few extra challenges with prizes and Mike won one. He got the longest putt and won a free golf lesson. I was pretty proud. It’s nice to know that the community appreciates him and his job that much that they are willing to host something like that. Here’s a few pix. I tagged along since I took the day off.
All 5 gray haired golfers.
